Acne Mask
Manuka honey can help heal and prevent acne. This is because Manuka honey has healing and antibacterial properties, as well as anti-inflammatory effects.
Make your honey treatment a regular routine and document the improvement. You may see results in as little as seven days. Even if it takes longer, be persistent. Your skin will thank you for it.
Mix the following into a paste:
- ground oats
- honey
- lemon juice
Apply the mixture to your face, and leave it on for up to 15 minutes. You may instead use a mask of just honey alone, and leave it on your face for up to 30 minutes.
Spot treatment
Apply a tiny amount of honey to a forming pimple. That’s it. Leave it be and let the honey work its antibacterial magic.
Manuka Honey Exfoliating Mask
1: Take 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, 1 table spoon of brown sugar and 1 table spoon of Manuka honey and mix well until your scrub becomes a slightly sticky mixture.
2: Apply to a damp face for 1 to 2 minutes, concentrating on any problem areas.
3: Clean your face with warm water, and finish up with a moisturiser for a longer lasting effect.
Manuka Honey Moisturising Mask
This delicious smelling, intensely hydrating mask will leaves you with a healthy, luminous glow.’
1: Mash ¼ of an avocado in a mixing bowl and once it is smooth add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and 1 teaspoon of Manuka honey. Mix together thoroughly.
2: With slightly damp fingers, apply the mask in a circular motion and then leave on for 15 minutes.
3: Once the mask has done its work, remove it with warm water and then proceed to splash cold water on your face to close your pores.

Honey is rather affordable compared to industrial cosmetic products, especially since you'll only need a few spoonful's to make a facial.
Prices can nonetheless vary depending on the MGO strength of the Manuka honey you choose. The higher the MGO strength the more expensive it is. For best results on topical application to your skin we recommend using MGO 500+ or MGO 800+ Manuka Honey.
While it is fairly easy to find, it's recommended to look authentic and scientifically tested honey that guarantees the MGO strength.
